Restaurant Cabaret Le Chalet

Lighting at Its Finest

At the restaurant bar dancing “Le Chalet de l’Étang” in Le Quesnoy, two translucent, printed Spalek stretch ceilings were installed to create an interior atmosphere that is both elegant and festive. These light surfaces form the centrepiece of the interior design and play a major role in defining the visual identity of the venue.

For this project, Spalek’s graphic team developed a specially designed, repeating decorative motif, perfectly tailored to the atmosphere of the restaurant. Combined with an LED lighting system positioned behind the translucent membranes, this décor creates even, luminous surfaces that bathe the space in warm, refined light.

The work was carried out in close collaboration with installer Christophe Tonnoir — Plafond Tendu Nord, whose technical expertise enabled a precise and immaculate installation. A detailed LED lighting calculation was also carried out to achieve the optimum luminous result and show the printed motifs to their full advantage.

The result is a true lighting staging, where backlit ceilings, decorative chandeliers, dark furnishings and laid tables come together to create a sophisticated ambience. An iconic venue in northern France’s nightlife scene, elevated by Spalek’s stretch ceiling systems.
