A Design That Illuminates
DUA_SENSORIA Museum, Holzminden
For the DUA_SENSORIA museum in Holzminden, we developed an elegant, two-part cylindrical lampshade providing even and atmospheric illumination both laterally and downwards. The aim was to support the spatial impact of the exhibition while creating precise lighting for the spaces and visitor pathways.
The design was developed in close collaboration with planning firm barthInnenausbau KG / S.a.s. Based on the project’s aesthetic requirements, we developed a technically optimised solution combining design, functionality and ease of installation. Thanks to our high-performance bending machine, all curved segments and supporting rings were manufactured with maximum dimensional precision. From the very first assembly, the fit of the prefabricated elements was perfect.
Final installation took place on site in Holzminden just a few days before the museum’s opening. Thanks to precise prefabrication, a clear assembly sequence and careful packaging of components, installation proceeded smoothly and on schedule.
The result impressed both project partners and the client: a high-quality lampshade with a clean design, offering even light distribution, a refined finish and seamless integration into the exhibition concept.
